Erasmus-University partners

  • Italy

Florence, a major Italian city in Tuscany and the living heart of the Renaissance. Here you have the opportunity to study in the midst of an impressive historical backdrop. Tuscany, with its picturesque vineyards, also invites you to take part in activities outside of everyday city life!

  • Poland

If you would like to spend your semester abroad in Poland, you have the option of going to either Warsaw or Krakow. The modern metropolis of Warsaw combines modern architecture with historical charm. In addition to the lively and dynamic atmosphere, Warsaw offers a number of cultural attractions. Poland also has plenty to offer in terms of scenery: many green forests, lake districts and mountains.
In addition to a wide range of cultural offerings, Krakow is a very student and touristy city where nightlife is not neglected. Krakow's Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a historical centre. Krakow's surroundings offer the opportunity for hiking and numerous lakes and rivers are ideal for water sports. Winter sports enthusiasts can also go skiing or snowboarding in the nearby Carpathian Mountains.

  • Portugal

Coimbra is an idyllic university town located between the two major cities of Lisbon and Porto. The countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling and the nearby Atlantic Ocean also offers opportunities for surfing and kitesurfing. With its historic university, mild winter temperatures and varied landscape, Coimbra is a great place to spend a semester abroad.

  • Spain

Spain also offers two locations for your stay abroad. The first is the capital of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas. This city particularly appeals to those who love the sun, beaches and palm trees. Water sports dominate here: from surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing to sailing or diving. The mild temperatures all year round make the island a paradise for outdoor activities.
The Andalusian capital, Seville, is in no way inferior. Seville is located in the south of Spain. The surrounding area is characterised by picturesque riverbanks and hilly terrain. The proximity to the sea and the warm Mediterranean climate are also ideal for a variety of water sports.

  • Czech Republic

Magnificent castles and bridges characterise the fairytale-like image of the Czech capital. Here, medieval charm meets lively, modern dynamism. So if you fancy a diverse city with a wealth of cultural offerings, you should perhaps consider a semester abroad in Prague!
